So say they chose 500 BETA testers, 250 would start on the 2nd feb, and another 250 would start on the 8th of feb or something like that.

Yeah but they alsaid said they want to see if it can cope with the lag but 250 is probably only 1 quarter or less of the visiters that are going to be online at once

Yup, thats why theyre going to gradually let people in slowely so they can actually see how many people can be online at once without crashing it too fast.
