A glory hunter, in my opinions is someone who supports a team because they win things.

It annoys me when im having a conversation with some one that like me that are from and live in Grays ask me.
What team do you support?
I answer back by saying Grays.
They then reply with " Don't you support a real team?"
They then go on to say. "I am the biggest Chelsea fan you would ever meet. Ive been to like four games in a row."
And they still wonder why I just laugh at them

i grew up watching everton, i kind of chose to be one too, and when i lived in australia i use to stay up until 2am just to watch the games. i'm no glory hunter!
been watching everton all my life, once a blue always a blue!

also; i wouldnt call BlueMoon a glory hunter tbh! it doesnt matter if he doesnt even live in manchester(dont know!), but going to 182 games in the space of what ever was said, 5 years was it?!

What do you class as a "glory hunter"? I was just wondering because BlueMoon seems to think that everyone who supports a big club and lives outside of where their team is based is a glory hunter. For example a Arsenal fan who lives in Northern Ireland is a glory grabber.

Excuse me?!?! You make a comment on Manchester City fans without even having a one of our fans views of Glory Hunters? A Glory Hunter, is a person who supports a football team just because they win a lot. But if that person goes to the football games quite a lot, then they are not a Glory Hunter.

A glory hunter is a person who doesn't care about the club they support. They just like them because they are winning.
Glory hunters usually change clubs quite often.
I support Manchester United and do not live in Manchester.
But my family has supported United for years (minus my dad) so i have grown up watching them.:eusa_clap

Exactly what I think too. I know 2 people who supported United three years ago, and now support Chelsea as they won the league. They probably will support Arsenal/United next season.

The top 4 are better than us yes... they have more money AND they're better than any other club in England, why their called the top 4. And the top 4 of your league are better than you...

I hate glory hunters. I suppport Norwich (local) but like to see Man Utd do well.
Hate it when people take the mick out of me at school for supporting Norwich rather than Chelsea, Liverpool etc when they are born in the same place as me..
