Xs aren't trained, before you get the badge you get an orientation session from your X team leader which is basically "read the X handbook in your acceptance email". Hobbas had to go to training sessions.

X's have more training than Hobbas.
Hobbas were volunteers.

X's do not have more training that Hobbas at all.

Hobbas had to attend work shops with staff and go through an initial training period with a SH before they were even allowed to use their commands in a private room.

X's are merely little kids who wish they were a Hobba when they were out, but were simply not old enough.
