been listening to a fair bit of the specials, madness & desmond dekker lately. also been listening to the verve quite a lot, but they're one of my favourite bands anyway. quite got into some northern soul of late aswell.

only two more weeks till their debut im kinda upset though cause it won't have "we throw parties, you throw knives" on it, which is such a bangin' single.

i just got kala today actually. i'm way behind. well actually i shouldnt say that, im way behind on some things. some stuff i'm way ahead, like i got animal collective's latest album way before it even came out and the twilight sad's album asap and i loved it, but stuff like lcd soundsystem and m.i.a., both took me a while to actually listen to despite their massive reputation.

anyway, ive only listened to it once and it's pretty amazing.
