my halo 3 is buggered

on matchmaking, in ranked team slayer
i been at rank 8 for two weeks
however much i lose, i don't go down
however much i win, i don't go up

happened to anyone else? it's annoying as **** :/ i need to get to rank 10 for the next promo (or 150 exp, but i cba i'm only at like 104)

I've been 6 for ages. They really should make leveling more easier on this game. This is why half the people that used to play Halo choiced Cod4 instead .

my mates had halo for like a week and he has 75 exp and high rank 18
i was like chriiiiiiiiist get a life lmao

Lool. I've had it for like since it came out. Played it on and off and I have played like 30 games in each and only level 6 .

oh i played 300 ranked games, had it since christmas
haha.. although my mates play it when they're round too

but it's just stupid at the amount of experience i got and games i played, i don't move from rank 8 :/

For exp, you get 1 for every win, and lose 1 for every one you leave early

For skill, its based on how many you win in a row. The higher you get the more you have to win in a row to get the next skill level. However the higher you get, the easier it is to lose a level when you lose, so you may win 5 in a row, lose 1, and lose a skill even though you didnt gain one.

Theres a hard way and a easy way to get rank..
Firstly, you should start Ranked Games when you first start, i recommend Team Doubles.
I got 45 in 1 day, and i can say it was easy!

Make sure you have a good partner though.
