I'm going to guess it's Claire. I remember Shannon dying shortly after Boone did, her character has been non-existent since Charlie's death.

Doubt it although anything is possible with LOST. What would happen to the baby? What would happen to the Jack/Claire relationship?

Just looked it up, says a death happens in episode nine. If there is a death next episode then it probably isn't a big one.

I'm sure they can work the Claire/Jack angle before episode nine.

Episode nine will be aired after the hiatus :|. Episode 7 is the last one we get before the 4-5 week gap. So fustrating!
