Well guys, I didn’t think I’d be doing this anytime soon, but I think that it’s about time that I left Habbox. I’ve had a great time here, and I’ll always remember the experience, but it’s really time for me.

I’ve been using Habbox as long as I can remember playing Habbo (Ever since 2003), and I was the 555th registered member on the vB forum. Three and a half years on HabboxForum – It’s really been a lot longer than I thought! However, I just don’t have time to deal with everything anymore. Habbox always has had to take a backseat to real life for me, and lately I just don’t have enough time to deal with everything anymore. My combined jobs between Habbox and HabboxWorld, while I love doing them, just absorb so much of my time anymore.

To free up some of my time, I’ve just sent in my resignation as Habbox Competitions Manager, HabboxWorld Competitions Manager, Forum Moderator. I will remain, for now, the HabboxWorld eXpert Manager. I won’t be visiting Habbox nearly as often as I used to, but will still pop on occasionally to see what’s going on. I’ll still use IRC occasionally (considering most of the people I actually like on Habbox use it still), but still won’t be on there as much.

It’s been a hell of a trip, and I’d like to give thanks to a few people (Some Habbox users, some old Habbo friends) –

Green@pple - Jen, you’re the single best thing that’s happened to me as a result of Habbo. You’ve proven to be one of my best friends, though I haven’t even ever met you in real life – which is something I really can’t say for anyone else from the online community (with the exception of Azel of course). From our days wasting away in your damned mazes to sending each other letters, birthday presents, and the endless phone calls, I’ve loved every minute of it. You’re one I’ll never lose contact with, and I look forward to talking to you next time I’ll never forget that first time we met in Azel’s room, and that old snobby HC girl

-ProThug- - Azel… What’s there to say? You’re my oldest Habbo friend, ever since that day we met in Billy’s room. We’ve had a hell of a time together as well, but my favorite memories still have to be our 3-way conversations on MSN with Jen and the old days in your mafia (seems like an eternity ago, doesn’t it?) Call me sometime, you know the number! You’re another I’ll stay in contact with, at least if you’d ever log onto MSN. Maybe I’ll just drop you a few comments on MySpace

opensourcehost – Jay, I haven’t known you as long as most of the people on this list, but you’re still easily one of the best people I’ve met through Habbox. Thanks for all the fun conversations we’ve had on MSN, I look forward to many more (particularly now that it’s working again) Thank you for all of the opprotunities you’ve given me, particularly on HabboxWorld. I wish you the very best of luck with your uphill battle to get HxW to become more popular. You’re easily the most dedicated person I’ve seen on Habbox.

MissAlice – My inspiration! Alice, I’ve known you for a few years now, and it’s always surprised me how incredibly nice you were to everyone. During your time as Competitions Manager, I watched in awe as you dealt with terrible comments and honestly rather annoying people. You were always polite and respectful, no matter how terrible they were to you. I never even wanted anything to do with Competitions on a fansite before I heard of you, but seeing your work was my real motivating factor for offering to help out when Steph was the Competitions Manager. Honestly, the only job I’d ever really wanted on Habbox was Competitions Manager, and I can leave with no regets knowing that I managed to at least get that.

.:.Mmmm.:. – Sandy, I could never forget you! You entertained me as much as anyone on Habbo, and I’ll really miss talking to you. Good luck in life, you deserve the best. I don’t think there’s much else to say except ‘green toes’

Dino-Typo – JoJo, we had a ton of fun on Habbo for a long while there… Even though you refused to ever actually keep a single layout, which is why I was to be seen helping you with some new random casino every week or so. We’ve had some good times love, good luck in life (and with your kid!)

Earthz – Hah, had to toss you in here. Thanks for cleaning my entire 40 throne collection so I could finally get off of that waste of time, Habbo Hotel (For the moderators, I’m not accusing of scamming, so please don’t infract me or anything like that, particularly now that you actually can again. I know you’re all itching to give me that first infraction, but it isn’t going to happen! Ha! The thrones were won fair and square.)

Test:Tube:Baby – Matt, how could I forget you? You’ve always been there to entertain me, even if it was a rather stupid humor. Good luck with everything, we’ve had a hell of a time.

Micky.blue.eyes – From our days in the spam thread, you’ve always been probably one of the more entertaining people on Habbox for me. I love you micky, I’ll see you on IRC!

:Jamie – Jamie, you’re easily my favorite person from Habbox to talk WoW with. You’re one of the few other people that actually knows what I’m talking about, and I love you for it. Thanks for the time you’ve spent listening to me complain about the game!

Nvrspk4 – For all of the little time-consuming tasks I’ve made you deal with, thanks for your time! You’re really a quite lovely person, regardless of all of the negative comments that’ve been posted about you in the past. I, at least, understand that you’re just doing your job

Joshuar – Josh, you’ve been as helpful as anyone to me on Habbox. Thanks for all of the opprotunities you’ve given me on HabboxWorld.

Aquae – I don’t feel like looking up what you changed your name to (Though I know you have!), but thanks for giving me a chance in the Competitions department Steph!

2hd. – Though it was Steph who gave me the job, you were always the one that I really felt close to as a manager. You’re an incredible person, and were always one of the most fair people around. Thanks for the chances you gave me while you were manager, and the recommendation to MAD for manager

---MAD--- - For giving me a shot at management and finally letting me have the position that I’d wanted for years.

Everyone I’ve worked with in Competitions – You’ve made it all worthwile, thanks for one of the best experiences I’ve had!

Seacat – For giving me my first job on Habbox as a Forum Moderator in 2005, even though you fired me a little while later Oh well, I don’t feel too bad about it. You fired micky too, and he later went on to be an admin, so we can’t have been THAT terrible

Professor-Alex – For all your help in Competitions, before and after I got the manager position. Good luck with both Competitions and Articles in the future!

Tombo – Another lovely person. All I can say is – Bob Dole!

Yoshimitsui – For sorting countless things on HabboxWorld for me, and always providing a bit of entertainment as well

Now, for one important detail – The next Competitions Manager – The heir apparent is Professor-Alex, and I fully support and recommend him as the next manager. He’s the best one left in Competitions, and will do great as the fifth Competitions Manager in the history of Habbox

One last thing; On the subject of Habbox and its current General Management – I’d like it to be known that I have absolutely no issues with the current management, and fully support them. They do the best they possibly can do, and it seems like the members of this forum like to find ways to take cheap shots at them for merely doing their jobs. Yes, it’s changed since the old days – However, there’s more members now, and they have to make sure the rules (and consequences for breaking them) are fair for all members. I’ve been here three and a half years and I still don’t have a single usernote or infraction; it’s really not that hard
