You're probably right. If Michael and Walt had gotten off then the freighter crew would've known someone had survived the crash.

I hope thats not how it ends. I really like Claire and her character and it would be ashame for her to die .

The ending just shocked the heck out of me. The whole time I thought it was Sawyers baby. I don't get why Jack doesn't want to meet the baby. That bit confused me and I am sure theres more to the story than Claire just dying.
