Because you can give +50Rep to your friend, they'll have like +49 and will give it back to you... Making the rep system suddenly explode, you can compare it to the global population I guess...

Only 81 members have 5,000+ posts... So getting another 5,000 just for another rep point is stupid, same for the 2 years.

Every 2,500 posts, 1 year and 500 rep points seems fair to me
    where does it say that?

I agree. I can post 500 in a week so that would mean I would be getting a rep point once a fortnight (that's 26 points a year and that's 50+ in two years). 2500 sounds fair but at the end of the day, it's up to management.

Hardly anyone even reps people now so it's almost impossible to get an increase of rep power, I liked the idea that for every year I was using habbox I would get more power with my reputation and now I don't? And this really doesn't solve anything because people can still buy rep can't they? So they could just buy alot of it and it takes less effort than earning it
Nope, they stopped selling it, which is a good idea. Selling rep was one of the worst ideas

Not really. It helped keep the forum open when Habbox were low on funds so it wasn't all bad.
