Default [THE BIG WEEKLY QUESTION] Doovdes and Blues

Haven't got a great question this week, will have one in Microsoft though. 2 new GTA IV trailers arrived, pretty sweet. Anyway Ao2 came out today (I think) and I heard it's pretty sweet, I might invest.

Anyway just gonna get to the question -

Do you own any Blu-Rays or HD-DVDs?

I only have Simpsons Movie and Spider-Man 3, will get I Am Legend and Cloverfield.

Out of interest, what format do you have them movies on, you didn't answer your own question

I'd never buy HD-DVD from the 15th of Feb ;P

Personally I own none, I also don't own a HD TV so it would be pointless.

HD-DVDs should still work with a blu-ray player and they're still cheaper than blu-ray disks so you might aswell buy some movies as HD-DVDs if you can, no point wasting money on a blu-ray disk, I seriously doubt there is much difference between the two anyway

Excuse me? HD-DVDs do NOT play on blu-ray players.. they need their own seperate player, unsuprisingly a HD-DVD player which have been discontinued.

I only own Casino Royale on blu-ray

Microsoft and Toshiba manufacture HD-DVD players, Sony makes Blu-ray. Normal Blu-ray players only play BD, PS3 just has added stuff.

@Whoever, was gonna edit but ran out of time. I own them on BD

Nope, don't own any. I stick to the good old normal DVDs. I don't see what all the fuss about HD is.
