Imo, thats the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard... The Sun are definetly exaggerating that, I bet they don't even know who the text messages were actually sent to.

BBC have said it was suicide,

I believe that he must have been under ALOT of pressure and he had relationship troubles such as affairs.

    RIP

Well they've announced on the BBC Website that the man did not have a large amount of alcohol in him, so whether he was drunk or not is questionable. I guess there's alot more to this than just 'commiting suicide' like I've always been suspecting. They should definetly test the whisky bottle for fingerprints, and I would for the jacket too... In a matter of a fact, was the jacket even there?

I'm close to certain this wasn't suicide now...

They are still filming at work today because of this silly affair he was apparently having. Wish the media would just quit with all the speculation and bringing out personal information about his past, when all that needs to happen now is for his family to be left in peace, bringing up the past is just going to make them grieve and hurt more. Its stupid.

I hope the whole matter can be concluded soon so his family can be left alone and nothing else cropping up.

And in response to Ryan's post, I am 99.9% sure he wasn't murdered. We have heard that he was suffering from depression because of the above, and must have had a lot of personal stuff going on... I really feel bad for him and it's a shame he decided to commit suicide because of it. GMP won't be the same without him running it.

Yeah I agree with how the media are being pretty nosey about this. I think they're going about it in a different way, by praising him at the same time for being a 'family man' but I guess it doesn't fix anything, nor make anything better. I'm sure that if the media say that a story of him in an affair was imminent for publishing, that would explain hell of alot. I guess yeah, the police know more than the public so maybe there was more going on than whats been mentioned.

Shame he did commit suicide, but I guess the pressure would just be too hard to take.

Agreed on that... But they won't, because it's their job.
