Greatest Holiday destination ever

What do people think is the best place to spend your holidays?

Me personally has to be Kenya and the safari parks and all that

Kenya is meant to be alright, hoever i'm still a little wary of going there due to the political instability. (Odd fact time: My dad was born in nakuru, kenya)
My perfect holiday would be somewhere in central asia, visiting all the buddhist temples etc.

My idea of a perfect holiday is not sitting on a beach soemwhere lol :]

I agree with Technologic. I love central Asia. I don't like sitting around on the beach and I don't like going to places that are similar to our own country (not including heat wise) and that have different religions etc. I loved Japon though and Bali. Shame about the Bali bombings though I nearly got caught up in them but lucky we decided to not stay as long there.

Dubai is a nice place to go to put only for a pure relaxing and shopping holiday. There isn't really anything that great to see there apart from sand and more sand.
