Default Removal or editing of staff rule breaking issue

I am not that impressed with how reported posts are always dealt with.

I reported the thread below today and expected it to be gone by now :s I spoke to somebody on messenger and pointed it out and they said they reported it the day the thread was created.

    http://www.habbox.forum.com/showthread.php?t=465136

The person posting this is habbox staff and now they tell me to get over it :eusa_wall a moderator has also posted telling somebody it is against the rules but the thread is still left open or unedited.

I do know that when staff are breaking the rules it needs to be reported higher but surely a s/mod or admin should be able to deal with this and not just nvr? even if its just moved out the way until nvr reviews it then moves it back. I brought this up previously but was told its ok how it is :s so 3 days of stuff not being editied is ok? this happens alot more than this thread but I am highlighting this one due the the rudeness and rule breaking of the great staff member in question.

C&P of the thread incase its ever deleted

    Beware REMOVED SCAMMS.
Yeh scammed me in a 5.0 bet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyT2xz9QQPc for the vid.
yeh k so beware everyone dont fall for it.

I fully agree with this. I spoke to nvr about giving us permission to close/move staff threads and he was it was a good idea but this wasn't taken any further. nvr comes on about once a day for not very long so it might be a good idea to hire 1 or 2 more staff editors.

I brought it up that if it was a normal staff member breaking the rules then surely at least elkaa as FM and the AFM should be allowed to deal with it. If it was a manager I understand a AGM would be needed but this would be very rare.

When I was AGM i brought this up and it didnt seem to go down to well but it would be looked into...............

surely a smod should at least be allowed to move it to a forum that only smod and above can see until the AGM deals with it then move it back?

you could just move the thread into the hidden forums, not like your editing the post or anything...

Imo the thread should also be closed on the grounds it is an argument, I don't think it's too much of a problem for a mod to close it until its reviewed by an smod/whoever deals with it.

Surely it should be at least hidden as this could do damage to peoples reps. there is a video as proof but its not hard to edit them even though a little harder than editing a screenshot.

I agree there about the possibility of more staff editors.

The forum and it's posts spans across a wide area and staff do break the rules but before mods can do anything, they have to tell Nvr and on top of his other jobs Nvr can't investigate every report straight away.

Maybe being moved to a hidden forum for Nvr to review is the better idea..

The rule actually is that no infractions can be issued, or edits. The rule isn't that the post can't be moved into the private area, so SMod's are allowed to deal with it to that extent.

That is good then the next question is how come it has took 3 days and this thread to get it moved? I never wanted to post here but after about 6 hours of my previous report and then finding out somebody else reported 2 or 3 days ago i was left with no other option.
