Vista SP1 RELEASED

I'm still not getting it this morning after numerous tries, the reason it probably isn't coming though is because some of my driver's aren't compatible with vista SP1 so I've got to wait I guess. Must be on about 30 tries now...

Windows Update will recognize PCs with known problematic drivers and postpone downloading Windows Vista SP1 until the PC has updated drivers or other applicable updates. Using Windows Update will help ensure you have the most trouble-free update experience possible.

I think maybe you have to uninstall the RC to get the update...

It does seem quite a lot faster actually. Also I just shut down my laptop and it was off within 5 seconds when it normaly takes about 8-10

I noticed that with the RC. Took a lot less time to start up. Except when I set the wrong partition active then I had to use the vista disc to set it back :eusa_whis

It seems to have slowed down my computer. Maybe it will pick up after its been in use longer? Stupid vista.

My PC actually loads up a lot quicker now, thank god for an official SP1! LOL

Ive noticed the O/S become somewhat speedier post-update so im happy. Less lagging around the edges
