I think he means the green Halo 3 pad that you get with the collectors edition Halo 3 xbox 360 that roughly came out the same time as the elite. It is green with metalic bronze "trim".

I don't know whether its just the lighting on those pictures, but those controllers look really tacky, like the trainers you can get that seem to be made of plastic.
