At christmas they'd cost loads because everyone would want one for their kids but now they are selling them cheap so that people think "omgs thats cheaper then x so i'll buy that instead".

I believe the PS3 has been released in a version with a smaller HDD with a smaller pricetag. The x360's prices have probably dropped in order to compete with it.

They wanted the Xbox to be the cheapest next gen console, so it's now cheaper than the wii.
