Take the hard drive out of my ps3 and put it in my laptop cause my laptop one is broke?

Or is it totally diffrent hard drives?

I know not very much in this area, however, I very much doubt it. When my h/d failed, I had to replace it with a HP Hard drive, I believe they are completely different.
Correct me if I am wrong

Tbh you could but it may or may not work depending on your laptop and it may effect your ps3 + leave you without a hard drive for both ps3 + laptop

I know you can put computer hardrives into the PS3. I know someone who put in a 500GB

AFAIK the PS3 uses a 2.5" SATA HDD. Laptops use 2.5" SATA or IDE drives.

if i did break teh hard drive of the ps3 cudnt i just get it fixed cause its got warranty on

edit: after taking teh harddrive out of my laptop i saw a warranty sticker and says warranty void if seal broken so if i took it back to pc world wudnt they fix it inc the laptop?
