I take it your running vista, then. What did you use to update Direct X?

Edit: man i dont get this.. people post a thread asking for help and then they just log off straight away like they don't even care.

If you look at my post time and yours there is atleast 30 minute difference , i have a life i dont sit patroling the forums everyday all day like you

On topic: im running fsx i downloaded the update put it in folder tryed installing and it spits out "Please use an english version" or something along the lines of that

yes and the fs forums dont want people with that attitude

Have you got FSX SP1 installed?

If not install, if you have

Install FSX Service Pack 2

If you already have, then use system restore?

Ive installed sp1 just and it is still saying it although they same thing

I've done Manchester > Dubai > Perth (same route I do when I go to Oz with Emirates)

Try the sp2. I think that helps with a lot of performance bugs etc.
