Did I say she was useless in the '80s? No. I said that was the decade in which she produced good material. She produces junk today. Yes, the 1980s had some great talents, who, for the majority, are all burned out today. Look at Duran Duran.

i agree, really. the 80's is the most overrated decade for music. but there was some good that came out of it; r.e.m., sonic youth (both of who are still coming out with good music), the pixies, the smiths. the irony is all these bands' true genius wasn't realized until the 90's, haha.

because it has to be 25 years from your first album to be accepted into the hall of fame. many has-beens have been accepted.
