When i go to Control Panel > Network & Sharing & Click on view status of my network, it says my speed is 18.0Mbps usually?

Lmaoo, I haven't been reading this properly, that's just the speed you're connecting to the VM network dw about it, it's pretty much normal.

It can't be too normal, it goes up to 100Mbps is im using a wired connection!

Yeah wired connections go on hub not link speed.

Nope, there was nothing else connected to the router & yeah, i do/did.

Just got a free wireless router from Virgin, the speed has gone up to 54Mbps now .
