This is pretty well known. It doesn't happen to just chickens but to everything else. It is the only way the human population can continue to grow. If we stuck to normal methods, there would be no way the earth can handle billions of people.

Even vegatables and fruits are made to grow huge although they don't have feelings .

Why do they need quorn to look and taste like meat if they think eating meat is wrong - Why do they need a meat substitute?

I can't be bothered to make a long post about my veiws on this subject as it comes up wayyy too much, atleast those chickens are going to be eaten and such unlike the animals killed pointlessly by the organisation who made the videos and site.
    www.petakillsanimals.com

and as someone mentioned above (I think it was Gomme) PETA's videos aren't 'under cover' as they say, many of them are staged for the purpose of putting people off meat, fur, wool and things like that, while PETA 'activists' film and direct them.

I'm all for people standing up for animal rights, being vegan myself, but I wish people would do some research before we get all the 'omg saev da animalz' crap.

I would assume it's because they like the taste but don't want to be eating an animal's skin.
