    Parents don't seem to understand.
My mates (Amy and Melissa) told the're mums and they really did not agree - they just banned each other from seeing eachother.

"Your too young, stop messing up your life" Said Melissas mum.

What kind of mother would hate her own son if he was gay?

Your mum may just be shocked and might just need a bit of time to get over it. This is exatcly what i was afraid of when telling my mum, i thought that she would kick me out etc. However, she understood - I think she was a bit shocked at first (like most people would be).

In 'the little talk' she may give you later, shes bound to give you the 411 on desiese, relationships, school etc - as this is what my mum did. If she doesnt like it, then tough. She cant change what you are and she needs to get that into her head, and if she cant, then you will have to move out as you cant continue living with somone who your supposed to trust when theyre the total opposite and dont like who you are.

Just a bit of advice as I know what its like to be in this position
    Thanks

Even tho I believe all gays should be shot at point blank range I have some sympathy for you here. You are your mothers offspring and she should respect your decision no matter what, (Even if it is wrong:rolleyes.

You may not agree with homosexual relationships but by the looks of it your not even prepared to talk to homosexuals and find out about it. When I was rather young I didn't understand homosexuals, but once I got talking to a few you begin to realise they're just the same as everyone else, and not only that, it's nothing to do with you if they're having a relationship.

It's a pretty sad signature tbh, it shows your immaturity if you feel the need to express your strong views and opinions in your signature.

You won't get far these days saying homosexual's should get shot, you can think that all you like, but if you express it everywhere you'll be classed as homophobic as it's not really accepted these days to say things like that, you should really research the issue.

It's a free world, I'll express my opinion when and where I choose. The reason why I have it in my signature is to let people know the only reason I'll be negatory to them is if they are gay which I believe is wrong and disgusting. If you was gay in the olden days you would have been whipped (bad idea, maybe you all like that). As the immaturity I believe you are immature for not letting me express my opinion without kicking up a hissy fit. Homophobic is accepted in todays society as people still believe gay relationships are wrong. Mothers wouldn't want their sons or daughters seeing two men kiss on the street would they? They'd pull them away in utter disgust because it's disgusting. I respect the way your head works but it's a pity nobody can re-wire it.

Homophobia isn't accepted in the majority of the UK, if you spoke out in it in public you could actually be arrested.

I have no problem with your opinion, it's just that you choose to express your opinion. Don't give us all that 'It's a free country!' - Yes it is a free country and we're free to say the majority of our opinions, homophobia isn't generally accepted a bit like racism isn't. No one can change your opinion, but just because it's a free country is no reason to express opinions like that, keep it to yourself.

'It's disgusting' - How childish... It's not up to you what homosexual couples get up too.

I wasn't being negative to the whole post, I expressed my opinion on homophobia and stated I had some sympathy for him. You go in the middle of your town and shout out loud that your gay, I'd love to see the dirty looks you get. Thing is homophobia isn't and will never be fully understood. Personally I see it as a mental illness or you have the wrong wires in the wrong places. Any gay person who kisses another man deserves to be punished for the sin. It is 100% wrong and police should enforce that gay men or women cannot apply sexual acts in a public place, i.e kissing.
