    Default Today at BHX.

    Hello Folks

Gave the ol' controller a bit of a challenge today at Birmingham by surprising them with two helicopters doing Right hand ccts.

Daniel Brennan (BHX TWR) Actually thanked me for spawning it upon him, due to his 300+ hours recorded on BHX Twr, he had never experienced it before.

Thanks for a great day guys (Y)

Wouldn't have been a challenge to them, they would have been trained for it anyway. Perhaps a nice suprise or a revision session?

Nice shots, love the stripey blades.

Thanks Matt, the rotor is a favourite of mine also.

According to Daniel at BHX, they are not trained for Helicopters.. I searched up VATSIM Helicopters on google yesterday and it seems alot of threads on the VATSIM forums say that they are not trained for it either. - Shame really, 'Kellyhopters' make things interesting.

    VATSIM lacks rotor pilots imo.

What is the standard procedure of helis on VATSIM? Its probably just a recent thing for controllers to learn their ops.
