Well without really knowing what its about then its hard to give advice.
Is it actually anything to do with you? Sometimes its annoying when your friends dont tell you something but sometimes they want to keep it quiet/ protect you from the truth or something of the sort.
If its a nasty rumour sort of thing then you should just tell her youve heard it as a rumour and see how she reacts. You should be able to tell if its true by her reaction.
If it is just a nasty untrue rumour then its best that your friend hears it from you rather then some randomer whose been listening to chiniese whispers.
