    Default Vista Ultimate

    Hi, I was installing vista ultimate and when i choose to install it onto my C Drive i get this error:
    " Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as ntfs. "
    Help anyone?

    Your partition is probably formatted to FAT32, which Vista doesn't like. By the sounds of things you're trying to install Vista over an OS like XP i.e. upgrading. What you're probably best doing is completely formatting your hard drive and installing Vista from there.

    Yes, I'm going from Ubuntu to Vista.
    How do i reformat my hard drive?
    I tried format but did not work =/
