I use the brush, I click on a colour and it goes grey for some reason all the time I click on a colour. Eg; blue. Anyone know why?

Image >> Mode >> RGB Colour

greyscale was automatically switched on for some reason. thanks.

That sometimes happens if the picture you open is in black and white.
