Yes, but now you've gone back to the government's actions and what they have done, rather then the actual people who are out there suffering. A human life is a human life, where ever they come from. They shouldn't be denied any form of help because of what the people above them have done, because you can't just say "we won't help x because y did something I don't like" because that is immoral and again is tarring everyone with the same brush, when its the minority who made the decision.

Yeah, too bad red names (for admins) is taken, because it is "chinese-y"

I have already donated 10 dollars via a charity show in Singapore to help them, but nice idea, I don't mind donating more (my uncle is there working, coming back next week)

How about some for the Myanmar cyclone? The China earthquake is stealing all the spotlight

@above, people might not want to donate, but to buy VIP some might won't mind donating indirectly.

How can you say that? If it were your family there you would want them helped. The innocent public have nothing to do with the ******* government in china so why should they suffer?!

I think everyone should make a donation (doesn't matter how much) in their local banks, that way Habbox doesn't have to worry about transfering the money, getting into problems, changing the money rating...

It would be nice yes, but less problems

    Let them suffer because...

I totaly disagree with you, but respect your ideas.
In the earthqueake of 1985, China as many other countrys helped Mexico in everything they could.

    Today for me..
    Tomorrow for you...

Just because China is big that means nothing, it means they have 1.2 billion people to feed not that they're rich.

Lots of you say the government is reluctant to accept aid, that's actually the Burma situation so I wouldn't make accusations like that if you don't even watch the news.

I don't think China have been needing aid, they've flown in a lot of their military and are dedicating lots of resource's over there, it doesn't seem too much of a situation, the worst has been done and we can't stop another after-shock, China are taking care of survivors, it just needs to be done quickly. Don't get me wrong it's been an awful disaster but there's little more that can be done other than planning for the future which I'm sure a almost world-super nation can deal with. The situation isn't on-going, the Earthquakes have happened, people are at risk, not too much more can be done.

I'd rather donate money to the Burmese Cyclone as they're now accepting aid and that is actually a humane crisis which is still on-going.

However mean and harsh these natural disaster's are, there's at least 2 or 3 big one's every year especially with global warming happening, there's many more chances of these extreme events. If Habbox support this one, then perhaps they should support all the future one's? It's not feasible as you can't just donate to this and then when there's a tsunami in Indonesia later this year we just say 'Yeah we've already donated'. After all, Habbox do their bit at Christmas and they still have to fund their server's etc at the end of the day.

On topic of Habbox Christmas, I haven't heard ANYTHING about where the money's been spent this year, I've been meaning to raise this issue.

    https://habbox.com/site//content/view/3138/297/

It just says it's going to 'Less fortunate people', they've not even announced the Charity yet or gave proof of the donation like they have done in previous years.

Surely it's up to Habbox what they do with their finance anyway, if people want to make a donation then why not make one yourself, you don't seriously need Habbox to do it for you if it matters so much to you:

Would habbox just take all the money or would they be honest and actually give it to the charity? Plus they've raised more money than they can get in aid to the country anyway so it wouldn't help.

Ok then, how about you do that for Christmas and any other charitys HabboxForum used to run. Because if they do China not through her what gives any reason to do any.
