Well it seems a lot of effort and thought has gone into this by MAD and all the senior management seem to want to make Habbox Forum a community to be proud of which is safe but fun to be on. That's sounds fine to me. With new departments it will probably take some fine tuning to get it right. I like the idea of 2 departments One will hopefully balance the other and with 3 AGMs who are all positive taken on the mantle of FM, no one person holds the balance of power. If it works as it should I feel the whole ethos of Habbox will be a lot more flexible and friendly! Look forward to it.![]()

Not entirely.
I'm going to be based alot more heavily on the forum than OSH is, mostly working with the AGM team developing/researching new ideas for the forum, and being more community involved.
At current, Forum Manager has alot of roles in it - Which are too much for one person to handle, between community, moderation, feedback, development, ideas, research, reports, hireing/fireing, promoting and other things ontop of that. By splitting it into different sections, it will hopefully help the forum itself.
I've already said to MAD that I don't wish to be either of these two new roles (not that it was offered) but instead I'll remain, for the time being, as Forum Manager. After that, we'll see how it goes.
Hopefully somebody like GommeInc will get either role.
Let's just hope that the moderation manager has enough common sence to realise that infracting someone for saying idiot is childish.

Lets hope its not one of the super mods unless its Alex..
I think making the AGMs Forum Management is one of the best changes that has been made on Habbox in ages. It will prevent one person having too much power over people.
WELL DONE
It will indeed help the forum, I employ the same principle with the senior writer programme in the articles department and it works amazingly well, the workload is split between three people leaving them with almost nothing to do, but what they do do they do extremely well and it all comes together really nicely. I hope that principle works well for this rejigging of the forum structure, obviously it won't be as simple as "you edit articles, you do reports" etc but it should work along the same linesAt current, Forum Manager has alot of roles in it - Which are too much for one person to handle, between community, moderation, feedback, development, ideas, research, reports, hireing/fireing, promoting and other things ontop of that. In which case you'll be disappointed, as far as I've heard the AGMs will remain with the roles they have now, but they will be working very closely with the current forum management to finalise the changes, as they do with all changes. But as for the one person having the power thing, it can work both ways. It can have a negative effect, as has been proven when there have been two VIP editors. It all depends on how much the community manager and moderation manager jobs overlap. If there's no overlap at all, it should work very well. We shall see.

Well as I see it yes they will be a lot more involved as they will all have the title of Forum Management and have the final say on most things to do with the forum.
Part of MAD's announcement.
The plan is to discontinue the Forum manager (FM) role as we know it. Instead, FM will be known as the Forum Management, who each Assistant General Manager (AGM) (Immenseman, Joshuar, Nvrspk4 - yes them, the green little men ) will be part of. They, as they have been for a very long time (and will be), the ones with the final say, making changes to the forum and discussing many aspects of the forum. We will be introducing two, new big managerial roles, each with a department to look after.
Also I am sure that the new departments will want to work positively together to make Habbox even better. Communication will be the key to this.![]()

That's what I get for reading the announcement when I've just got back from holiday and am completely shattered thenWell as I see it yes they will be a lot more involved as they will all have the title of Forum Management and have the final say on most things to do with the forum.

Communication will be the key to this.Apart from the title change, I can't see much job change though, it sounds pretty much like what they do now. But I've heard they've often been overidden and effectively ignored when it comes to changes, hopefully the new system will see more of a discussion process than a "here's an idea, inject any improvements into it before I pass it through" process. As you say, it all comes down to communication
