Ok so they aren't disasters, but the term natural disasters covers tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes etc. Its probably one of the closest thing to a natural disaster in Britain seeing as we don't get many.

Carlisle floods, it dident hit my house but we were stuck in out tiny area surrounded by water, no power, no heating etc.
i wasent scared but the water was well deep.

left cuba a few days before katrina hit... if that counts. Oh I was also in London the day it got bombed.

When I was India there was an earthquake, but I was really young then.

I was in a caravan park asleep when a little tornado hit it, our caravan was chained up but there was a little caravan and a car chucked into a river. All I could hear when I woke up was my brother and sister in the other bedroom shouting "theres a piece of paper spinning in circles!" Luckily, noone was hurt.
