Wink English Language Paper 2 (Specification A)! Well Eazy!

    Hey,

I did my English Language (Spec A) paper 2 today; it was well easy!

I did "Search for my Tongue" and "Presents from my aunts in Pakistan", It was well easy and then i did the describe question; "Describe your dream world?"

But there was so much I could of wrote about on the poems: I had to narrow it down because of time and so the examiner doesn't get bored reading it.

For the poems I did an introduction on the word "Description" and how it relates to the poems I choose, then wrote about the 2 poems seperate on how they use effective description and then a conclusion on the one I prefer and why.
I included loads of Bull-Sh*t to get me more marks LOL and like basically made most of it up.

For the describe I did like 2pages and like 1/4.

    Hoping for "B" overall!

How did you guys find it?!?

    oh my flippin' god.
the easiest poem came up, with possibly the hardest question
"Two scavengers," and " island man"
i only knew two scanegers, and island man was short so i did that.
    omg it was super hard
    FAILED RIGHT THERER.

    Then i saw
    "Describe your dream world"
    Easy?
    LOL
    NOPE.
i started writing about the worst thing ever, should of planned it, i wrote that i was Madeline, and i was kidnapped and took the best place ever, and that stuff was all happening, but then when i got found, it turned out my dad had been hiding me, and then i couldn't live no longer cause the world didnt revolve around me, so then i killed someone for more attention and my world was restored.
    LOL
    OMG
    IM SO GONNA FAIL!

    Very easy!!

I did the dream world one and because I thought the examiner would get bored reading constant essays about 'no wars' and 'no hate' etc... I did a story instead.

For the cultures poems, I was hoping for 'Two scavengers' and I was like 'YES!' because I tried my best to look through the paper without opening it and see what the named poem was but all I could see was 'in a mercedes.' If I wasn't in an exam, I would have jumped up and down in delight

I did the same questions as the thread starter. Seeing as we had only studied cluster two poems I had to go with question two although I didn't like the question, would of much preffered question one because I could blag that and get a decent grade. I did my own dream world which went okay I think, never used so many adjectives, aha.

Yeah it was easy. I was happy with the questions. I did 'Search For My Tongue' and 'Presents From My Aunts In Pakistan.' Then my dream world. Didn't really wrote much for that. :>

LOL, for section B, I just used all the similies I could LOL, tried some alliterations, alot of complex sentences with semi-colons and colons for the extra marks, a few dashes here and there and aload of the random stuff to secure some good easy marks LOL and for ideas - copied some stuff out of the anthology on other poems LOL. Used short-sentences for impact, umm adjectives, used my senses obviously, its a describe question. LOL

Yeah, what I done. I thought about stealing some lines out of the anthology but I never got around to it in the end. It's a good way to show off the simplest of things all of which will get you marks.
