    Default Shockwave problems

I got permed on a few accounts yesterday, and I guess they IP banned me. I was told by a friend that if I uninstalled Shockwave, then reinstalled it, I would be able to get back on. I've done so, and when the client opens, it's telling me I'm missing a piece or something. I uninstalled it again, then went to go reinstall, but it's telling me 'Installation Complete' when it hasn't installed.

    Help?

Hmmm, If you've tried reinstalling it and it hasn't restalled, I'd reboot the computer, but thats the most extreme thing you should do, if it's absolutely necessary, if anyone else has an answer try theirs 1st

Can you try and take a screeny of what happens when you open the client? That way we can see the problem and it may help us understand it.

Are you using firefox? Usually in firefox it tells me I am missing something and then I try to install it and it tells me I am still missing it.

I suggest trying a new browser (if you're using firefox) and see where that gets you .

Have you deleted the Shockwave application completely, and safely?
You may still have .tmp (temporary) folders hidden in your files.
The best way is to Delete it, Delete internet cookies,
Then use 'SEARCH' to find all hidden files, and delete from their.

In extreme cases, If this doesnt work,
Log on to the PC that is linked up to the Internet Modem, and change you IP statically.

You can do this by, Opening CMD, RUN > CMD,
    Then type in, ipconfig/release.
You will then have to unplug your internet connection and leave it overnight.
You will then have a new IP Address.

    Hope that helps!

You didn't have to reinstall shockwave, all you need to do is delete your Adobe Shockwave preferences folder which contains information that blocks you from accessing Habbo's client.

After installing Shockwave Player, a restart may be necessary. Try downloading it again, installing it, and restarting your computer.
