I'd say the Fuji because yes you'll get it for free, but for reviews I've seen looks quite good.

I have a personal experience of the earlier model, the FujiFilm S5700, and that was a great piece of kit, before I upgraded to a professional D-SLR.

I would take the FF, as its free plus will do everything you will possibly need to do!

You know i've read things saying the 400D is a good D-SLR for a beginner.

And yes go with the Fuji.
