Cutenews set up

Hi,

I'm thinking of making a new site up and I'm wondering how to set up cutenews.

Can anyone help out?

• Download cutenews from www.cutephp.com
• Upload it to your webhosting
• Go to http://yoursite.com/cutenews/ and follow the instructions on the screen
• Remove the search.php file in the /cutenews/ dir.

If they have the latest version they wont have to remove search.php the exploit had been fixed I think.

No need to remove.. There's a fix on the cutenews forum

I'd have thought so, but I'd patch over it just in case

Naa, the best thing to do is replace the search.php with another file saying FAIL and a little message, then make the page log there IP's and then redirect them to a Rick Rolle'd website
The amount of IP's our page has logged makes me laugh.
