its so pretty. radiohead albums (post-ok computer, anyway) take multiple listens to enjoy. there have been other albums they've come out with since ok computer and all of them are considered masterpieces. a lot of people (including myself) even consider kid a to be even better than ok computer. in rainbows is better than hail to the theif, but hail to the thief is still incredible.

anyway, coldplay have said that radiohead are one of their biggest influences.

I despise Coldplay. They bore the hell out of me and the only thing they inspire me to do is slit my wrists.

in rainbows is only good for the first 8 minutes, then it gets really boring. viva la vida is better, but coldplay aren't as good as radiohead. not until they make an ok computer/the bends quality album anyway.

    I'm not a fan of raidiohead =D

And quite clearly, I like Coldplay....

Like SOME of the new album, some of it lacks in splendor, and some of it just blows you away. I'd say it's one of the best yet, but I still like X&Y
    PM me for help.

"all i need" is easily one of last year's best songs, and in rainbows is easily one of the best albums. if you're pointing to "nude" or "house of cards" as boring, i can understand the distaste (even though i think they're beautiful), but the majority of the songs aren't dull at all.

anyway, i listened to viva la vida. its superior to x & y for sure. it sounds a lot like sigur ros at some points, there's definitely some good songs on it. the end of "yes" is probably my favorite.

i just don't 'get' in rainbows. i've never liked any of their albums at first, but eventually i got into them, whereas with in rainbows i never could.

best songs of viva la vida are cemeteries of london and viva la vida.

yeah, i get what you mean. it took me forever to 'get' kid a, but now thats one of my all time favorites. personal taste i suppose.

they should have split up some of the songs on viva la vida though. im kinda annoyed by the whole "two songs on one track" thing to be honest. cause it's not even like they really blend.
