    Default A Memory- Poem

First of all, sorry that most of the rhymes are really "Me" sort of things.
I wasn't thinking properly, I did this in English btw, because on the day I was worried because I had to bring in a 10 page essay in the next day, or else I would get like, an hour detention or something. Plus I hadn't even started it, I guess he realised when I said "What homework?" Oh wel.. Another thing I was running out of time so I had to finish the poem in a rush.
    So here it is then.

    A Memory…
There was a creature of the night
And me, a normality of light
    A romance with a bite
And the plotting of a plight

I stood in a shop so simply

Then I saw him looking at me
    With green eyes twinkling darkly
    Those of a blind, mist

    With Jet black hair
Skin that’s pale yet still so fair
He steps towards me, with a care
It is true love, oh dear…

    A shocking discovery
He is not the boy I’d thought he’d be
He has the potential to kill me
Yet he vows “I will never lay a finger on thee”

    Plans to escape
    Intercepted, he drops his cape
    Takes up arms, defending me
He drops dead, how can this be???
    The rest is history

    Here I sit, with memories
    But I’m not alone

There’s a little child with me
    Looking at me

    With green eyes, twinkling darkly
    Those of a blind, mist
    With jest black hair
Skin that pale, yet so fair
    The child speaks “Mummy”

    He’d left me,
    A memory…

Can I get a rating or something? Tips are graciously welcome.
