    Default | Habbo Error (#5) | Need Advice |

Hey guys I have a problem with habbo, I can log into the homepage and doodle around with my habbo's look etc etc but when I "Check In" it loads until it gets to the hotel view and within seconds i get a black screen and a "Opps!! (#5)" under that there is this passage of writing:

"Oops, the client encountered a technical problem. Not to worry this error has now been recorded to our system and will be investigated by our support team.
Please re-open hotel to continue. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

This problem has been happening scince january this year and ive searched many forums for help but none can give specific help, ive contacted habbo during these months but no solution was found.

Things I have tried to fix this problem:

    Re-install Shockwave
    Delete Cookies
    Try different browser
And due to another problem ive even wiped my pc and started from scratch.

I thought that if I wiped my PC it would of worked but it didnt so uhmm yer now im here asking for your help

    Thanks.

Do you use Firefox, and do you get the Green Button saying 'Retry'?

This is quite a common problem when logging into Habbo but it can be usually solved by reloading Habbo and starting again.

I usually get error #11 and, by reloading, I get back on.

I'm not entirely sure was error #5 is. Have you tried going on Habbo with just Habbo open? And are you making sure there's nothing dodgy on your computer that might interfere and block you from entering Habbo. Use add/remove programs and run some clean up/safety/anti-virus programs to check your computer.

That's all I can suggest really.

Yer, ive tried with just habbo open and ive made sure theres nothing dodgy on my PC, I have tried to download a stand-alone version 10 of shockwave player but when I install it, it installs version 11 :S .

Ive just sent another email to habbo staff with all my system info etc, maybe the info can help them.

Also to include this, someone i met on here has the same problem and they jogged my memory a bit, we both have "Virgin MEdia" and we both have this problem, when he told me this i realised that i think the problem started when my dad switched over from sky and went with the full virgin media package. Though like i said i think this problem started when i got it, i cant be 100% sure.
Maybe VM is the cause? If so...What to do :s

I think the best thing you can do at this time is to report the problem to virgin media. Or maybe request Habbo to do so.

Maybe try looking through here for suggestions on how to add it: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourc...+through+ports
