Default (+10 rep) Is this a good cam?

    Heya.

Basically i have a really brill samsung 8mp camera atm which I absolutely love. But unfortunately me and my parents are going on holiday at the same time this year (seperately as I am going with my gf lol) so we have been fighting over who takes the camera!

Haha the only solution really is if we get another, but as we have such a good one already I was kinda just after a good cheapo! lol

After some hunting I came across this and was wondering if it is actually good and will do me alright for the money.

I understand its refurbd or whatever, but I think 5mp for £20 is brill tbh lol.

So is it worth me getting and will it provide some good pics?

    Thanks for all help

(Also my gf is after a video camera and I was gonna suggest this one (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130932) opinions please?)

Hey well. Click Here you can see the quality of 5 megapixels. But it really depends on the type of camara. But Technika isnt such a bad make, soo you should be ok. Also you wana check the memory of the camera, see how many photos it can hold. The price is very good. Soo i would recommened buying it.

    Good Luck, Hope this Helps.

    Luke,

Nice camera Thats a pretty cheap price and Technika is a pretty good brand, lasts a while.

It looks pretty sleek too, you might should look for one with a rechargeable battery if that doesn't have one, it is a pain to keep buying batteries, or getting rechargeables you have to take out and charge.

All in all, for the price, it looks great! I'd go for it.

Technika is a decent brand and 5mp is good enough. And for that price, you just can't go wrong.

Thanks for the help - think I will probably just buy it as all seems good and all reviews and stuff I can find are good too!

I have been using rechargable batteries in my cam just now so I wouldn't really mind if I had to as I guess it's the same principle as recharging an actual camera battery, except I can rotate the batteries charging so I will always be able to use it!

Also it takes a memory card thing so I'm gonna try n look up some cheap ones too - how much memory do you think I should buy?!

    Any word on the camcorder?

    thanks!

You shouldn't need more than 2gB - look on eBay for decent cheap memory cards!

What type does it take? The standard is CF (Compact Flash) or SD.

I have a 4GB SD card for mine, but it all depends on how many pictures you want it to hold.
