IMO its debatable. I remember the attitude era started a few weeks after Austin won KOTR. The ending for me was the draft. But you could say when the invasion angle started because thats when WWF had bought out the competition.

The foundations of the generation started when Austin won KOTR '96, but the era didn't properly get into full gear until 1997.

Justice for the 96
Draft Spoiler 1
The WWE Draft takes place tomorrow night on a special 3-hour edition of WWE RAW. WWE has promised to shake things up - here's the latest Draft news. Keep in mind that NONE of this stuff is confirmed:
-- The John Cena to SD! rumors continue to circulate among many backstage. This would be the 'big' shakeup. Keep in mind the Mickie James-John Cena storyline came to an abrupt end and they really want someone big as the main promotion when they move SD! to MyNetwork TV in the fall.
-- Much like previous years, WWE is keeping the draft very secretive, to the point that most all of the talent will find out if they're changing brands as soon as the audience does during the live show.
-- There has been some talk of moving the Women's Title to either ECW or Smackdown but no official decision has been made just yet. Vince feels that both of those brands need something to distinguish them from what RAW offers and the Women's Title just may be the answer to that.
-- JBL wanted to make his in-ring return on SD! several months back and he has Vince McMahon's ear. A move back to SD! for him would not shock m

I don't want Cena to go because I really dislike Smackdown but at least on Smackdown he could get another title reign and be perhaps more appreciated.
Kennedy hasn't done a great deal on Raw so he should go back to Smackdown, and Mvp move to Raw, and also Cm Punk Raw!!

Me to my mum was a bit skeptical about me watching live, with me having exams tomorrow in school but i said.
Me: "Mum, its the draft!"
Mum: "Is that important?"
Me: "Yes!"
Mum: If you don't ******* wake up for school there is going to be trouble!"
Lol, it better be worth it tonight.
Think it will be
