Default Sir Alan Sugar 'crashes' at Barton.

Sir Alan Sugar 'crashed' at Barton/City of Manchester yesterday during a thunderstorm.

Nothing serious, off the end of the runway and onto longer grass, aircraft only suffered an inbalanced prop.

It really isn't a serious incident, as he said himself.. Although, attempting to land in a Cirrus during a thunderstom really isn't the best idea!!

The news report gives the impression he was the pilot, who knows?

    was sir alan the pilot?

overdramatised as usual - i read in another newspaper I read that the passengers on board screamed in terror as the plane plunged 10,000ft while Alan Sugar fought with the controls to avoid the school for blind orphans...

    Yes he was the pilot!

He's always flying, mostly at weekends!

He's proberbly flown to an airport near you.. I know he's been at Humberside a few times before, never seen him though.

Lol it is over-dramatised! Sir Alan brings it back down to reality though. I like how he says "While we waited in the lounge for a mate to pick us up." He doesn't act snobbish or posh at all
