Last time this issue was brought up didn't they say they would just hide the entire games forum and then make a new one with no post counts increasing?

I'm not really too bothered on this issue because as jesus has said, at the end of the day it's just a forum.

I do see what some people are saying though about how people are basically getting priviledges for spamming the games section. I say if they're really that bad and spam over 5000 posts, just give them the damn features.

I think people should care a bit less about post counts.

My only fear with disabling all those posts and crap and making a load of people go down a lot is that they'll start finding new ways to get their post count up by commenting on EVERYTHING (assuming that they are as post-count hungry as everyone says they are) which I imagine will get quite annoying. I'd rather have it stick in a few threads then throughout the entire forum.

FlyingJesus made a good point though about how if it really was about the game then the post count won't matter. I'd actually laugh if the games section is just as popular if this decision goes through.
