Why isn't HxHD supported more?

HxHD was previously advertized and I believe there was a reccomendation made for HxHD to have a banner, however as Immenseman said the decision was made to focus on one thing this month and then switch the next month.

As long as the HxHD gets a nice stylish banner on Habbox.com I am happy.

As far as making HxHD more of a public place goes, that may be done. Honestly people don't use HxHD that much for help anymore. The problem being, of course, if HxHD is no longer really for help, then staff really have no reason to come other than to chat, and then we have no staff who come in, and then it simply becomes a second "Trade and Casino" without the incoming flow of people.

With the Xs being disband, I believe that we have an opportunity to get the desk more popular. Even if that doesn't work we still do help users. Certainly not as many as we used to, but the numbers are sufficient to keep the desk open in my opinion. (However the desk is also used for the majority to socialize, and I don't see a problem with that.)

There is only so much space we can use in a non v9 room. We could try a v9 room but I get the feeling the personal touch would be lost.

With the Xs gone we probably will have a "new lease on life" because the Welcome Party can't be summoned at any time, just near the beginning. So we'll have to make some key decisions and see what we can do!

The HxHD has been lacking a bit recently and i really do agree with everything Dan said, you need a good manager, which we have, but you can only do so much in a fansite department without the backing of the fansite. Events in the HxHD bring in people but the same old face (nice faces) but some new ones might also bring in new friends of them ect ect.

So i think the answer is just have a big push, even if it's just for next months room of the month. And see what comes about from there!

You have the choice of who to vote for :S. This month they where focusing more on the casino i don't know why but whatever. I requested for a banner a week ago but the graphics manager was away so it wasn't done. Now hes back then we should get one made .

I think the point of having that advert was that the HxHD has a lot more "Habbo" traffic than the trade and casino so advertising the casino seemed a better choice this time round

I don't think a v9 room would work. It would be hideous and there just isn't the demand for that much room in the help desk. There would be great big areas which didn't have people in and it'd lose that 'close community' feel which is keeping it alive.
