If your PC can handle Vista just fine... why use XP? It would be stupid sticking to the past imo

he asked how to do it, not if he is able to...

I suggest look for a tut online as I really cba to type it. Make a sizely partition (at least 50GB) and then install vista using the disk and click install on partition and click the partition you made.

Some people prefer XP to Vista. It's not stupid sticking to the past, It's like saying my freinds stupid for listening to the Sex Pistols and The Beatles?

Anyway, I want to dual boot so I can keep everything. But um, 50 GB? My computers memory is only 53 GB XD (It's 6 years old).

Try not to call your computers hard-drive space 'Memory', Memory is an entirely different thing

The Sex Pistols and The Beatles are an opinionated thing, however Vista is just an improved and additional version of XP in many ways so there's little reasons to prefer XP, it's hardly down to opinion, more common sense?

Meh. Then I might aswell wait to get a new one.

The only thing I like about XP over Vista is the fact that there are so many more possible Customizations for it but not for Vista. And I like Customizing my PC. XD

Yeah, I tend to call Hard-Disk Space Memory for some reason.

Anyway, has anyone got a proper answer (not wondering WHY I want to do it)?

Putting vista on a 6 year old machine is like dressing your nan in a hoody and jeans
