    I would go for the ipod, since i have a computer but if you still have computer access then you don't really need the laptop until you move away from home or something similar pops up.

    Those studio laptops look ok but be warned the intel graphics accelerator won't let you play any games newer than 8 years old unless it doesn't use pixel shaders. If you don't move around a lot then get a desktop pc! Then if one part goes you don't have to pay as much to get it fixed and you can customise, and it would normally have a longer life span thats about 2/3 of the price for the laptop if going for the same specs.

    But it's still your choice

    Nowhere to put a desktop thats all, I need it to be mobile to I can walk around the house and when my dad boots me out the back room I can use it in my room.
