I got a tattoo done on Monday and I was told to put cream on it 3 times a day which I've done but how long do I need to keep this up? Is it just a week after it's done or just a few days?
I don't think the guy said anything besides what cream and to apply it 3 times a day, I got a card with some information about looking after it but all that says is apply it 3 times a day.
Anyone know? +rep.

Apply the cream until it has finished scabbing for better lasting colour of the tattoo.
I'll be branded a maniac for speakin' the truth and I'll be murdered as soon as I hit the streets with the proof.

You will start scabbing & it will itch, but don't itch it because it will rub off your tattoo. Just keep applying the cream until the scabbing has completely stopped. That's what I did for my two tattoos & they're fine.

Yep like the people above said, best thing to do is apply it untill the scabs have fallen off. and CRAIG I LOVE U!
