Four new cast additions have been announced for the fifth season of Desperate Housewives.

The next run will begin five years after the events of the previous season, meaning the four children of Tom and Lynette Scavo (Doug Savant and Felicity Huffman) have been recast.

Now teenagers, eldest son Parker and twins Porter and Preston will be played by Joshua Moore and Charles and Max Carver.

Kendall Applegate has been cast as Scavo daughter Penny, the youngest in the family aged about eight.

ergh whatever with the "several years later" stories - it isn't one tree hill
they just want something different to keep the ratings up but going this far is just stupid.

that said i'll probably still watch it.

apparently the part eva longaria plays goes abit off the rails in the new series and changes her style completly & puts on weight.


i dont like the whole 5 years later thing - all abit to far for me.

Poor eva... everyone said she was pregnant. Kudos to her putting on weight though for her role... bet posh was like
