No way. And it's crazy! I'm in Ireland right now and the euro exchange rate is incredible. it's like 80p for 1 euro and the chocolate bars cost about 1 euro each. Thats at least 35p more than england per chocolate bar. And also flumps which cost 10p are 40 cents which is about 28p.
I would hate to have the euro. It would make the credit crunch situation even worse than it already is. Imagine having to halve your money if the euro came and not only that, everthing would be almost double the price and in most cases even more. If we did go to the euro things would turn out so bad the politicians would realise and want to go back to the pound. But what would be done would be irreversable because changing money back to pounds would mean you lose even more. Bad situation hey?
