    Yeah, it is instructions for a computer..

    But PHP is not really a software langauge, as it is instructions for the PHP interpreter, which then tells the computer what to do.. hmm.

    PHP applications can be called software, I usually get strange looks when I say I'm a PHP programmer as opposed to a software developer.

    Charlie, no professional company would fire (or even have the legal grounds to) someone because of some people sending emails (which was the reason you said you would not reveal the name of the company because of).
