We only had him 3 weeks but we loved him as much as any pet before him, he was our family rabbit, my kids picked him up from the pet shop on the last day of the school year and from the moment we saw him we fell in love.
My husband called him Licky because he used to lick him and the kids called him Milo.
He was 8 weeks old when we got him so he would of been just under 11 weeks old when he died.
The reason for his death are unknown but on the same night our pet gerbil also died so we asume it's something they ate or they just caught illness of each other.
We buried the 2 of them yesterday and well it was sad to see them go.
In the 3 weeks we had Milo he really made us all smile from running around the garden eating more grass than you would think a small rabbit like that could stand, soaking the kitchen when we tried bathing him, making quick exits from the cat and in general just making us laugh from his clumsiness.
His death has really left a big empty space in my house and no not just from where his cage used to be but from just not being there to smell out my house to lick me and to give me attention.
It was the shortest lived pet i've ever had and i've had quite alot but i really felt love from that rabbit and i am sad that it had to die so soon.
R.i.p Milo ):
Also R.i.p Dec [The gerbil that died the same day]
He was a family pet we'd had for nearly 3 years and we're sad that he had to go aswel.
