And yes, Kelly Holmes may have had to take part in hundreds of events (As has Adlington, but nowhere near as many as Holmes as) but it was the winning of the 2 Gold Medals that made her get her damehood

I stayed up and watched the Rebecca Addlington race and she was outstanding absolutely shattered the world record. She's done extremely well considering she went to Beijing just for Olympic experience imagine how good she will be in 2012 in London! Well done to her!
