    Default New Camera

    Hey,

Just got myself a new camera few days ago:

    Canon EOS 450D

Still currently using the kit lens however I do plan to upgrade to a better lens when I get the money (£170 so far). Heres a quick example of some photos I have taken with it:

I am very pleased with the camera and would recommend it

    Thanks,

    Tom

What a amazing buy you have got yourself. That camera is truly amazing, also great photos. Hopefully soon or when I can, i will be able to get one of these cameras for myself.

I use the model down from this, the 400D. The 450D is a better model, with 0.5 FPS more, and 2MP more.

I always only reccomend a D-SLR for photographers, as it is pointless having one for snaps.

    Good luck though.

Yes, but everyone disagrees with you because anyone can buy one and become a photographer. Heck, anyone can be a photographer without a SLR... You do realise there are loads of famous photographers that use pin-hole/shoe box cameras? They're not snaps, infact most of the time they're very impressive. And also, stop using the word "snaps." A photo is a photo...

Anyway, ignoring the wannabe. Good camera choice Hopefully we'll be seeing some excellent photos from you
